An example from NX500 with the 2d/3d lens.
Image 1 - Res - 5.9MP 3232x1824
3D Auto Mode - Off.
Original attached.
This is how Photoshop opens the source mpo layer (attached)
Image 2 - Res 2.1MP 1920x1080
3D Auto Mode - Off
Looks like there are 2 identical copies of each eye in this mpo... see layout attached.
Hope this helps!

Re: Error opening mpo files
Yes, this helps, thank you!
Currently you can have a following workaround:
1) Open 4-some MPO file in a standard Mac Preview app. It will show all 4 embedded images.
2) Export desired left and right images from this MPO as two single PNG files.
3) Import these two PNG files to Stereo Master as left and right images to combine single MPO file.
4) Save MPO file in Stereo Master.
And this will be the result:

Re: Error opening mpo files
Thanks for that. I'm having trouble exporting the individual layers (need to export layers 1 and 3) using Preview, as PNG. If I drag the layers to the desktop, that works fine but they're TIFF by default so won't load into Stereomaster.
So, still no easy solution here.

1) open MPO file in Preview app
2) right click on desired image preview sample -> export as...
3) select desired image format
