File Output Type & Size...

The price of your iTunes App is good, but I have to make sure of its usefulness to me.

I also have a Panasonic DMC-3D1. The MPO files it produces are Left and Right images of 3264x1840.

Using your App, can I output a SBS jpeg of 3840x1080? Or even better, a compressed SBS of 1920x1080?

Also, would any Cropping and Parallax Adjustments I'd make, show up in those exported files?

Please post examples of such output files created from the MPO that I uploaded...

Hi!

If your MPO image has left and right images 3264x1840 size, then Stereo Master will generate SBS image 6528x1840 size.
You can crop and change parallax in Stereo Master (it automatically affects both L and R images), in this case output image will be respectfully smaller.
Only thing you cannot do inside Stereo Master is general image resizing, so you will need to scale output image to 3840x1080 or whatever resolution you need in another application.

So, workflow is this:
you tune your MPO files an export SBS images in maximum resolution in Stereo Master, and then make batch image resize in standard Image Viewer.

What about your MPO sample, it seems to be corrupt. You can upload another sample for me to try.

The MPO works in my Apple Preview App, showing two images...

Here it is again, I hope. (I actually downloaded my previous upload, and re-downloaded the new from this reply page, and both worked in Apple Preview.)

Thanks for the images; I like the quality, BUT...

Your SBS images were reversed for my 3D TV; the Left image is on the right of your SBS. (Those SBS you supplied were for cross-eyed viewing.)

I need the real Left image on the left side of the Side-By-Side.

Will your App do that, put the real Left image on the left and the real Right image on the right of the SBS?

Oh, I didn't think about that...

This is SBS in Left-Right setting.

For cropped and rotated image sample I also changed parallax - to emboss front leaf closer to viewer.

I downloaded your App from the Apple App Store just now.

I find it useful, and will be using it many time in the future.

One suggestion: perhaps you can add some options in cropping, such as corner aspect constrains (16x9, 6x4, etc), and moving of the whole & smaller crop-box anywhere on the image before cropping...

(In addition, it would be nice if you added the option of compressing the SBS to 1920x1080 for iMove video editing.)

Just a hint: Stereo Master can open not only MPO files, but also anaglyph JPEG and SBS JPEG files - it automatically detects what kind of 3D image this JPEG file is and loads it as real stereo image.
