Transfering paintings to Brushes XP

Post by mdebar »

I am using Brushes on an iPad.

I have some files that are only stored in the original Brushes app, and for which the .brushes file has not been exported to Dropbox. Is there a way to transfer these files to Brushes XP so that it can open them ?

Exporting your drawings to Dropbox is a good (and preferred) way to transfer/backup your work.

What about third-party tools, yes, there are some apps which can access Brushes files directly and copy them to Brushes XP, for example iExplorer app on Mac.

Thank you. The problem for some files is that the old Brushes app loops forever when trying to export the .brushes file to Dropbox. The drawings are my wife's for a book for our grandchildren, and one drawing is especially hard to recreate, unfortunately.

A file transfer tool might possibly allow me to have Brushes XP recover the drawing, provided the .bushes file is not corrupted.

My environment is : an iPad Retina with ios 8.1; not jailbreaked. I do not have any Mac computer, so that I would need a program that works from a Windows 7 PC. If you have suggestions that might help in this environment, we would be greatly helped.

Thank you for your help. We wish you a happy New Year, Michel and Martine Debar

I just found that Fedora OS (https://fedoraproject.org/) gives complete access to all your device contents: all documents of all applications are available with read/write access.

Hey y'all. I just bought XP in the hope that maybe able to import my paintings from the first Brushes app. Each file is not supported. Was wondering if this feature will ever be included in future updates because it would be great for SO many original Brushes users. Cheers
