Update for iOS 14.6?
Update for iOS 14.6?
I just tried to run SmartBasic, but got screen message that the developer has to update the software for this version of iOS (14.6). When I go to the App store there's no update button, just a new purchase. So what's the situation with the update for 14.6?

There is BASIC v6.3 which is another application. Old smart BASIC was discontinued.

So you're saying I have to buy SmartBasic again for it to work with iOS 14.6?

Smart BASIC was replaced with another application, its successor. It so happened that Apple made old application non-working in the latest iOS version.
So it's up to you to decide.

How do I get access to all the programs I've written in the previous version of SmartBasic? The App won't run under iOS 14.6. Is there some way I can retrieve the programs? Our will the programs become available again if I buy the new version of the app?

No, old programs will not be available again in the new application.

I tried iExplorer to get program files, but no success. Then I tried the free version of iMazing app and that worked fine - after several attemptS. I now have all my programs back and will consider purchasing the current version of SmartBasic. I will make sure I back up program files to my computer in case of future incompatibilities between the app and iOS!
