Can you still create iOS apps for App store?

Post by Ramzan »

I want to create an iOS app. Can I make it with SB and release it on the App Store?

That’s good. I’m sure I read somewhere that Apple had stopped allowing SB users to create apps for the App store. I don't know what I read then.

Good. Because I have an app to make.

By the way, can you add in-App purchases or ads?

No, in-app purchases or ads are not supported inside smart BASIC.
Maybe you can add them, but strong Objective-C skills and Xcode knowledge are required.

Question, related to an app I can't create - have you looked into why sliders all of a sudden stopped working in iOS 10.3.3, using XCode 8?

Not yet. Currently I am too far from Mac/iOS ecosystem to apply any corrections and I am not sure when I can resume this activity.
So, maybe it will be faster for you to use Xcode 7 to compile and submit your application to App Store.

Hi,

Thanks. Question. Should I go and download the older XCode App, or just tell XCode 8 that the app is to be compiled for XCode 7? If I recall, Imcan set the level inside of XCode itself.

Not sure about it. I would suggest to install Xcode 7.
