I've never owned a Mac computer (only iPad/iPod), but I like smart basic so much I am looking to get a used MacBook solely to run Xcode for my smart basic projects and put them in the App Store. Being a total novice with macs and Xcode, I was wondering what are the minimum requirement for a MacBook to run smart basic for Xcode (like so version, ram, etc). If this question is out of place in this forum, I apologize. if there are some good tutorial sites for beginner developer like myself please share with me. Thanks for smart basic. It's my favorite app!

Any MacBook capable of running latest version of OS X (El Capitan) suits well for this purpose.
