No sound on version 8.0 update

Hello! I absolutely love this app. It was working great until I updated the app to version 8.0. Now it will not make any noise at all. I am using MacOS Catalina v.10.15.7. Any ideas? Thanks!

Please check your computer sound configuration.
Currently there is no better advice.
But I will keep you informed if there is any information.
