I did a search for the post that described how to create the desktop icon, but it has been deleted.
This is described in documentation: NOTES > RUNNING PROGRAM WITH DESKTOP ICON section.

Re: Basic Program Shortcut

I did a search for the post that described how to create the desktop icon, but it has been deleted. The help shows how to run a BASIC program from a web browser that asks if you want to run it in SB, but no where can I find how to create this icon. Am I missing something? Thanks, George 1) You can c...

How Far Have You Traveled In Space (In MILES & KILOMETERS)

The program below was something I worked on for fun, using the various ways we move though space, you can see how far in light days you have traveled based on your age. I haven't include all forms of motion we experience, but I've used the following: Earth's Rotation (minus the COSINE of your coordi...

Re: field examples

I think if you put SLOWDOWN in your code, it should work. SLOWDOWN does what it says, slows down the CPU and is used exactly for code like keystroke captures or button presses. Here is the HELP on it: SLOWDOWN makes CPU idle for a short time period, thus reducing power consumption. This command can ...

Re: Can not running on my Xcode

Is the new version of the SDK available using the old link, or is there a new link to it? (In the meantime I will try the old link and look at it( George. I ask because I see the old SDK has Dropbox in it, and I can remove it, but I am not sure how compatible your new upgrades to your software's com...

Re: Can not running on my Xcode

I will look into this, but my new question is do we need a new SDK for the new version of SmartBASIC? I ask because I see the old SDK has Dropbox in it, and I can remove it, but I am not sure how compatible your new upgrades to your software's compatibility to iOS will need a SDK upgrade. Thanks. Ge...

Re: Can not running on my Xcode....sadly

I wonder if with the new Xcode whether we will ever be able to create apps again as the version of the SDK has not been updated in almost 2 years, another words it's predates iOS so 11 and 12. Before my iMac crapped out on me, a lot of the simple their coding statements such as SLIDER statement no l...

Re: Barcode Scanner

I have a question, would you have purchased SmartBASIC if you knew that the camera function isn't working because the developer hasn't kept up with the current iOS changes? PM me and I'll let you know which BASIC will allow you to do this. How complex is it to write a Barcode Scanner? Using the iPho...

Re: Editing screen format changed

Was that the chalk board settings? Because it almost looks like the old-style black chalkboard with the white truck and hand writing. If it is I'd like to know how it was set up if you could remember, because I would like to look for a program that I'm working on. Thanks And if you don't remember or...
