New Colour functions

Post by Dutchman »

I needed new colour functions for my 3D-program under development.
The new functions add shades of white and/or black to the output colour, via an additional parameter as imaginary part of the 'dye' parameter.
Furthermore the colour signals are transferred in an array as parameter so that the values can directly be written to the attribute-list of a 3D-entity.
The functions with testprograms are added to the Dropbox-folder:

The folder contains also the PDF-document "About colour attribute for 3D" which gives more details of the functions.

The following screenshots are also included.

This is like Christmas all over again. It is a great collection of useful color tools. Thanks, Ton!

Thanks Richard.
By the way, the simple gamma-function applied in the demo-program PaletMixSphere can be used as a parameter dependent on the distance of the light-source ;)
