Is Smart Basic compatible with iOS 11?
Apple warns that 32 bit apps have to be updated for iOS 11. If I update to iOS 11 and Smart Basic doesn't work, there is no way to go back. I don't want to lose Smart Basic.

Smart BASIC is not 100% compatible with iOS 11. But it is a 64-bit application and is working on iOS 11.

Re: IOS 11
Most of us have held out upgrading our devices, as SmartBASIC right not isn't even on iTunes (Mr K indicated that they pulled it until he pulls out Dropbox and I am guessing other minor changes).
We have in this part of the forum ("Other Topics") and we can use any help in figuring out how to get around without Dropbox. There are some really good ideas, and some that need to be looked at.
Now I am getting ready to post File Compare v3.0, a major upgrade to a program that compare two files (source is its primary function, but it can do certain data files), I have some coding to do to see if we can use this forum or a copy of it running on my server (Mr. K expressed a concern about space issues, which is a valid concern, but I own my machine on the Internet and I have offered to use it in connection with replacing Dropbox).
So while Mr. K is working on compatibility issues, we can solve the Dropbox issue. Yes, programs will need to be written, so volunteers, once all the pieces are put together, will be needed to code it.
But please, read the posts on this and Let us know what you think, any ideas you have are welcome. This is a time where even suggesting something crazy may spark a discusssion that leads to a solution.
George.

Would Google Drive work for this? It gives you 15 GB free, where Dropbox is only 5 GB. I used Google Drive for a bunch of videos that I wanted to share, as well as over 2000 old slides that I had scanned. Dropbox just wasn't enough room without paying for it.

No. No code importing is allowed, from any source.davey110 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 14, 2017 12:14 amWould Google Drive work for this? It gives you 15 GB free, where Dropbox is only 5 GB.
