Yes, that's why SmartBasic is probably nog mentioned.
As for SPL, not being a Basic dialect, it is obviously regarded as esoteric .

That's funny that dialects and esoteric languages are not included.

Xojo is a dialect of basic (originally it was RealBASIC) and it is listed, SWIFT is A spinoff of Objective-C, an esoteric, and is listed.

Also, PureBASIC, IBMBASICA, Business BASIC, Visual BASIC, and there are a number of REXX languages.

Also, there is another product in the wireless industry also called SmartBASIC by LairdTECH (https://www.lairdtech.com/solutions/emb ... tbasic-ble).

I don't know if this may also be the reason Wiki rejected it. Who has the name trademarked or registered?
