Currently this application is for iOS only.Bootlebarth wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 2:43 amHi Mr Kibernetik
In the Apple app store the new version is said to be iMac compatible with 10.12 or later.
When I try to GET/INSTALL I see 'Purchase could not be completed'.
Previously I've used Smart Basic (what an excellent app!) on my iPad only.
What must I do to run the new version on my iMac?
Keep up the good work
Smart BASIC is discontinued

Re: Smart BASIC is discontinued
Found the notification email in my spam folder (presumably because gmail say lots of bcc's and thought it but be spam!)
Thanks for the link - great to know this great app is going strong. I have downloaded and installed on my ipad succesfully.
Is there a simple way to get all my old smart BASIC programs into V6.0? (I confess to being baffled on how the internal storage is organised in apple ios - never seems as straightforward as windows explorer). I was hoping to access the same 'directory' from v6.0.
Thanks

Thanks for doing this update. It is nice to see the compatibility with the newer iOS devices.
The only thing that gets me down is gravity...

Re: Smart BASIC is discontinued
So glad to see that this great basic will continue on the ipad! I got the update notification email, but havent yet downloaded it as Im not using IO12 or greater yet (i fear some of my old music apps will break if I update). So i'm now considering updating my iOS. If I go past the free download date before i update , i wont mind paying again, as this is a great basic and has brought me a lot of joy programming on my ipad. Thnaks for the continue development!

My BASIC programs don't shown up in my File Manager folder. How do you get them there? I have copied/pasted the text of a couple into the new BASIC, but it's a bit tedious for dozens of files.
Also, for some unknown reason, my iPad will not play the "how-to" video.
