Viewer for Brushes XP

Post by dannyjae »

Hi there--thank you so much for updating the Brushes 3 code and creating Brushes XP.

Will there be a Brushes viewer for XP or a way to export large format(pixel) files from the painting created in XP?

Hello, and thank you for your comment!

Brushes XP fails to export your drawings?
Or you need another functionality to be added?

Hi! Brushes XP does not fail when exporting. It works great!

The largest canvas size that Brushes will let one create, though, is 2048x2048 which when printed out will only be a 14x14 inch print (at 150 dpi).

A previous version, Brushes 2, had a “Brushes Viewer" app that would export 6 times the canvas size, so one could print out larger prints of the the Brushes paintings.

If there was a way to be able to either export a Brushes file to a larger pixel dimension or be able to create a canvas that was larger than 2048x2048, that would be a very wonderful functionality to add.

Next version (1.3) will allow custom canvas size up to 4096 x 4096.
