Importing graphics on IPhone

Post by Logikmensch »

Dear Mr. Kibernatic,

thanks for such a good developed Basic system!
The language modifications from standard Basic are easy to understand and especially the graphics are brillant!
But let me ask how can I import a graphic file (e.g. a png file) into the file list?

keep on going your fantastic work!

Please use Dropbox integration to copy files to and from "smart BASIC".
Dropbox online service is http://dropbox.com
and also read manual about command OPTION DROPBOX

Please ask here questions if something will be not clear.

Thanks for the help. Indeed, I need some more help. Okay, I registered for Dropbox and I uploaded most of my photos to Dropbox cloud. Option dropbox worked fine as well (btw an interesting method to toggle common settings).
Now, starting Smart Basic I'm in the file list and have a 'drop box' icon at the bottom right corner. When clicking on it, I allowed dropbox to create a folder for Smart Basic.
That also works fine-but how can I now put some (at least one) photo inside that new folder?
I tried to copy a photo into the clipboard or the link to the photo, but there must be a different way...

thanks in advance for a small help for a silly user ;-)

It is correct that you created Dropbox account and activated Dropbox integration in smart BASIC.
Now you can:
1. Login on your computer to Dropbox website and upload image file there, to smart BASIC application folder.
2. In smart BASIC switch to Dropbox file system and copy this file to local file system of smart BASIC. So, file from your computer will be copied to smart BASIC.
3. In a similar manner in smart BASIC you can copy file from local file system to Dropbox file system, after this login to Dropbox website and download your files to your computer. So, file from smart BASIC will be copied to your computer.
