lost and appreciative...
Hello there,
I am a newbie in this universe, only with some souvenirs of my way through basic when i was young.
I cannot find a feature that i see on screenshots : Undo and Redo buttons...
Thank you for the help you can give to me, and a lot of congratulations to the maker ( s ? ) of this wonderful smart basic.
Merry Christmas and happy ending year

Unfortunately, i cannot see then.
The only control at the bottom of the editor, a slider for the whole source size, which operates well, but not the ones i see on the attached image

Re: lost and appreciative...
Which version of smart BASIC are you using?
Re: lost and appreciative...
The program shows V5.0 in the top of the screen.
I downloaded it last week.

Re: lost and appreciative...
Seems that you are using hardware keyboard. So you need to consult Apple what is UNDO and REDO keys when using it. On Mac it is ⌘Z and Shift+⌘Z.
Also there is a bug when bottom part of the screen is hidden when hardware keyboard is used.

I am not using a hardware keyboard, even though i wish i could. For the moment, i can't perform bluetooth association.
So you do not understand what's going on ?

Re: lost and appreciative...
There is something wrong here.
I would suggest you to become a beta-tester to test this keyboard functionality. Version 5.1 is ready to be out, so it would be nice to fix this bug in upcoming version 5.1.

Of course Mr. Kibernetik this is an honour !
Just tell me what needs to be done.
Btw, with all the respect for your work, the inline documentation is quite thin for me to understand deeply everything you implemented.
Do you have one more verbose ?
Anyway, with sufficient practice and training, i am sure i will gain a huge benefit using your software
Which part of the forum would be ok to ask this kind of questions ?

Re: lost and appreciative...
To become a beta-tester, you need to tell me UDID of your device (http://whatsmyudid.com).
Actually smart BASIC docs are not intended to be a complete BASIC language manual. SB documentation is just a list of additions and enhancements to standard BASIC language (which manual is a thick book itself). So, knowledge of standard BASIC programming language is required to work with smart BASIC.
So, if you are a novice in BASIC, I would suggest you to get some literature about BASIC language programming and study it. There are some programming lessons also on this website (viewforum.php?f=31).
"Other topics" section of the Forum can be used to ask any kind of questions. I cannot be a BASIC language tutor, but maybe Forum users can give advices or consultation on standard BASIC language programming.
